Friendships.
As I sit here in my living room feeling all Carrie from Sex And The City with my Mac on my lap, I’ve decided to write a post about friendships. As a self proclaimed social ladybird (I’m not feeling the butterfly), I’ve seen and had them all. Good friends, bad friends, friends that are good but end up going bad (you know, kinda like soured yogurt) and so forth. I guess I have to say I am one of the lucky ones as I’m blessed with an insane and incredible amount of good friends who have enriched and enlightened my life so much that I would be always sober, bored and probably a top brain surgeon by now completely lost without them.
We all have good friends. But what about the friends that are in our lives and are not so good? Ohh.. You know the type. The type that you feel completely uncomfortable around, the type that you don’t trust, the type that you want to bash their mother @#$%^&* heads into a wall, the type you wouldn’t want to leave your girlfriends/boyfriends/pug with and so on. The question is… WHAT do we do with them? Completely cut them out, give them a seventh chance or forgive and say you forget but don’t mean forget?
As someone with a lot of patience, I guess I would wait for a bit and then probably blow up one day (my personal favourite happens at 0:53!! 😀) talk to them. But what about all the shy & timid people out there who are too afraid to voice out their REAL feelings to their so-called “bad friends”? How do they cope, I wonder? I think bad friends or frenemies as they are commonly known, exist for one reason and one reason only: TO TEST YOUR PATIENCE LEVELS.
And about the good friends, I think they SHOULD test us and are entitled to stab us…but in the FRONT! 😀
So yeah. Opinions, anyone?
